Alain Charmoille | Drummer
Alain discovered the drums at the age of thirteen as a self-taught musician, inspired by pop and rock bands. Two years later, he entered the Conservatory of Nantes in France, where he studied classical percussions and jazz drumming.
At eighteen, he graduated from the conservatory and began teaching drums and classical percussions in several music schools in western France.
After 10 years at the conservatory, and numerous encounters with outstanding drummers and teachers, Alain moved to Paris to deepen his practice and explore new techniques such as Free Stroke and Moeller. He went on to teach at The Groove Academy Paris for seven years.
Today, Alain teaches drums at the Kulturskole in Tønsberg and at Øvingshotellet Studio in Oslo.
